LAGRANGE -- Lucy Arnold Tyndall, 87, died Monday at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
A graveside service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Pinelawn Memorial Park with Pastor Tim Lanier officiating.
Mrs. Tyndall was born in Greene County to the late Joseph Charlie Arnold and Ethel Mills Arnold. She was wife of the late Clyde Tyndall and was a member of Tanglewood Church Of God.
She is survived by two daughters, Sallie Rouse of Hampstead and Diane Hill and husband, J.P., of LaGrange; brother, James Arnold of Rocky Mount; three grandchildren, Allen Rouse and wife, Tamela, of Rocky Point, Brian Rouse and wife, Vern, of Oak Ridge, Tenn., and Denise Herring and husband, Jeff, of LaGrange; six great-grandchildren, Benjamin Rouse and wife, Crystal, Sanford Rouse, Skylar Herring, Noah Herring, Hannah Grayce Herring, Alex Rouse and Kaylie Rouse; and one great-great-grandchild, Lana Rouse.
The family will receive friends Thursday following the graveside service and at other times they will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J.P. Hill, 2625 Institute Road, LaGrange.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Tanglewood Church Of God, 2103 Rouse Road, Kinston, 28504, or the charity of choice.
