SEVEN SPRINGS -- Mary Lou Flanagan, 82, of 471 Greenfield Cemetery Rd., died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. from the Best Chapel Free Will Baptist Church on Indian Springs Rd. with the Rev. William Waters officiating. Burial will follow in the Broadhurst Cemetery.
She was born in Duplin County to the late Elizabeth Shaw Boone and Granger Ward.
Mrs. Flanagan retired April of this year from K & W Cafeteria in Goldsboro.
She is survived by two daughters, Loretta McClain and Henrietta "Sweet Thang" Howard of Mount Olive; one son, Charles Boone of New London, Conn.; six grandchildren, Bernard McClain of Magnolia, Franklin McClain of Salemburg, Martha Howard and Michael Howard of Mt. Olive, Charles M. Boone and Christopher Boone of New London, Conn.; ten great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held today from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Garris Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the home of Loretta McClain, 210 Fleer St., Mount Olive.
