Mr. Kenneth Artro Herring, 78, of 115-68 229th Street, N.Y. died September 26, at The Long Shore Jewish Medical Center, New Hyde Park, NY.
The funeral service was held Saturday at 11a.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel in Goldsboro, with Elder Donald Ray Kornegay officiating. The burial followed in the Kornegay Family Memorial Gardens, Mount Olive.
He was born to the late Mr. Jurney A. and Ethel Mae Bowden Herring.
He was survived by one son, Kenneth Artro Jenkins; two sisters, Elizabeth H. Brown and Marilyn H. Huggins of Cambria Heights, N.Y.
A viewing was held one hour prior to service.
