Pauline Daniels Kearney, 91, died Wednesday morning at Britthaven Nursing Home.
The funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sherman Guthrie officiating. Entombment will be at Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Kearney was born in Wayne County April 10, 1915, to the late Walter Daniels and Clyde Smith Daniels.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Willie "Dick" Daniels, Earl "Cute" Daniels and Relmon "Shine" Daniels, and her sister, Louise D. Smith.
She is survived by her sons, Rodney Kearney and wife, Betty, of Goldsboro and Donald Ray Kearney and wife, Debbie, of Niceville, Fla.; grandchildren, Melanie Kearney Smith and husband, Gary, Mike Kearney and wife, Angie, Travis Kearney and wife, Christy, and Scott Kearney and wife, Casey; three great-grandchildren, Landon Riley Kearney, Levi Walker Kearney and Micah Scott Kearney; and a brother, Walter "Boot" Daniels Jr. of Goldsboro.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Beston United Methodist Church, Attn: Irene Thorne, 2360 New Hope Road, LaGrange, 28551.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at Seymour Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the home of Rodney and Betty Kearney, 2329 New Hope Road, LaGrange.
