Mother Annie Ruth Darden, 69 of Mount Olive, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The viewing will be this afternoon at McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S. George St. from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. The funeral Service will be held Wednesday at the House of Prayer at 11 a.m., with Pastor Steven Moore officiating.
Ms. Darden was employed as a cafeteria worker for Wayne County Schools.
She is survived by her husband, the Reverend Moses Darden; one son, Moses Darnell Darden, two daughters, Larrie Swinson, and Gracie Faison; one sister, Mary Bennett; eight grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
