Nancy Thompson Rose, 63, died Tuesday morning at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A service to celebrate her life will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Rose officiating.
Mrs. Rose was a Johnston County native and was the daughter of the late Joseph Leonard Thompson and Emma Louise Massey Thompson. She was the widow of Charles Brantley Rose.
She is survived by one daughter, Teri Rose Dutka, and her husband, Richard, of Goldsboro; her grandchildren, Christopher Rose and Hailey Dutka; her brother-in-law, Wayne Rose and wife, Helen, of Goldsboro, and Larry Rose and wife, Paula, of Utah; her sisters-in-law, Ann Rose of Fremont, JoAnn Sawkiw of Goldsboro and Faye Rose Pate of Goldsboro; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Marie Edwards.
The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 1 until 2 at Seymour Funeral Home.
