KINSTON -- Letha Harper Sullivan, 85, of 2284 Ridgewood Drive, died Tuesday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital.
A graveside service was held today at 10 a.m. at the Harper-Jones Cemetery.
Mrs. Sullivan was born in Duplin County to the late Luby and Lola Thompson Harper. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Ira Sullivan, and a daughter, Carolyn Faye Sullivan.
Her survivors include one daughter, Janice Garris, and her husband, Kenneth, of Kinston; one son, Roy Sullivan, and his wife, Lesbia, of Kinston; two brothers, Clifton "Ace" Harper and Herman Harper of Kinston; one sister, Hazel Mize of Kinston; three grandchildren, Craig Daughety and wife, Rhonda, of Kinston, Dawn Jones and husband, Scott, of Goldsboro, April Barrow and husband, Keith, of Kinston; two great-grandchildren, Caleb Barrow and Cameron Barrow; and a soon-to-be-born great-grandchild, Mackenzie Hope Daughety.
The family will receive friends at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Garris, 2434 Pine Knoll Drive, Kinston.
Rouse Funeral Home in La-Grange is serving the family.
