Walter Griggs, 60, died Friday.
Burial will be at Rosehill Cemetery in Linden, New Jersey.
Mr. Griggs was born in Iredell County on May 2, 1946, to Charles Lender Griggs and Mary Thomas Griggs. He was employed as a construction worker and was a veteran of the United States Armed Forces.
Local arrangements are being handled by Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
