WILLIAM HARRELL
May 18, 1930-July 10, 2006
William F. "Shorty" Harrell, 76, of 2810 Selah Church Road, died Monday.
The funeral was held Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Jordan Chapel Baptist Church. The Rev. Steve Grice and the Rev. Jim Turbyfill officiated. Burial with Masonic rites was on Wednesday morning at 10 at the church cemetery.
Mr. Harrell is survived by his wife of 52 years, Flora Mae Harrell; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Rudy Hill of Goldsboro; special grandson, Jonathan Hill of Goldsboro; two sisters, Doris Darden of Suttontown and Linda Gantt of Warsaw; and two brothers, Norwood Harrell and Charles Harrell of Grantham.
Mr. Harrell was preceded in death by a daughter, Wanda Harrell, and his parents, Gerthria and Thelma W. Harrell.
The family received friends at the church following the service on Tuesday night.
