KENANSVILLE -- Ruth Ketturah Basden, 62, died Tuesday at her home.
The funeral will be held Friday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Community Funeral Home in Warsaw. Burial will be in Back Swamp Cemetery, Catherines Lake, N.C.
Mrs. Basden was the daughter of the late Lawrence Edward and Lula Elbridge Batchelor Watkins of Onslow County.
She is survived by one daughter, Rita Mantie of Kenansville; three brothers, John Watkins, R.C. Watkins and L.J. Watkins of Richlands; four sisters, Mildred Niemeyer, Lucy Sayers and Hilda York of Richlands and Trudy McGee of South Carolina; and three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home, and other times at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Mantie, 250 Holland Road, Kenansville.
