BUCK MCINTOSH

Retired U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Buck McIntosh, 72, of 621 Eagles Nest Road, Dudley, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro.
Born in Erwin, Tenn., he was the son of the late Carl D. and Ella Shelton McIntosh and husband of the late Judy Harris McIntosh. He was also preceded in death by a son, Jerry McIntosh, and two brothers, Dean McIntosh and Donald McIntosh.
He enlisted in the US Navy and transferred to the US Air Force and retired with a total of 24 years of military service. He also retired from AP Parts as a security guard.
Mr. McIntosh is survived by four sons, Michael McIntosh and friend Sigrid Greene of Clinton, Carlton McIntosh of Dudley, John McIntosh and wife, Rhonda of Dudley, Roger McIntosh and wife Connie of Mount Olive; one daughter, Wanda Jackson and husband Allen of Mount Olive; one brother, Frank McIntosh of Erwin, Tenn.; two sisters, Juanita Miller of Hickory and Avonne Jones of Erwin, Tenn.; nine grandchildren, Kimberly Dove, Kevin McIntosh, Shion McIntosh, Greg McIntosh, Joshua McIntosh, Dakota McIntosh, Greg Stroud, Will Jackson and Jared Jackson; and three great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held at Wayne Memorial Park with the Rev. Ivy White officiating.
Family members will greet friends Thursday evening from 7 until 9 at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, and other times will be at the home of John and Rhonda McIntosh, 629 Eagles Nest Road, Dudley.
