The funeral for Samuel Edward McClary Sr. will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Deeper Life Church Ministries. Bishop Anthony Woodley will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mr. Mc-Clary is survived by his wife, Josy McClary; five sons, Minister Ronald Richardson of New York, Cornelius Syndor of Philadelphia, Pa., Ronnie McClary and Sam McClary Jr. of Goldsboro and O'Brien Hodge of Smithfield; four daughters, Hazel Barnes of Jacksonville, Fla., Teresa Darden, Trenesha and Lakeisha McClary of Goldsboro; one brother, Elder William McClary of Winston-Salem; three sisters, Mary Rouse of Norfolk, Va., and Doris McClary and Deloris Jackson of Goldsboro; 18 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Viewing hours will be from 1 until 6 p.m. on Friday at McIntyre Funeral Home and the family will be present to receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m.
