KINSTON--Katie Mae Duff Hill, 82, died Friday at Pitt Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Hill was born in Lenoir County to the late John Thomas Duff and Minnie Ora Taylor Duff. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Nathan "Jack" Hill and a son, Donald Hill. Mrs. Hill previously worked for Kinston Shirt Factory and was a member of Word Of Faith Church.
Funeral services will be held today at 4 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home with Pastor Bud Quinn and Pastor Proctor Marshall officiating. Committal service will be Monday at 11 a.m. from Pinelawn Memorial Park.
Mrs. Hill is survived by sons, Ronald Hill of the home and Tony Hill of Deep Run; daughters, Julie Jackson of Warner Robbins, Ga. and Pat Stroud of Deep Run; brother James W. Duff of Jacksonville, Fla.; grandchildren, Tony Hill Jr., David Mewborn, Renee Langford, Kenny Jackson and Tammie Tyndall; four great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today following the service and at other times at the home of Tony Hill, 1153 Bland-Howell Road, Kinston.
Arrangements are with Rouse Funeral Home, LaGrange.
