Larry Charles Evans, 54, of 105 Edray Drive, died Monday.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church in Benson, where he was a member. The Rev. Glenn Fell will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Evans was born in Florida to the late John Fred and Geralyn Bryan Evans. He retired from the United States Army with 21 years of service.
He is survived by three sons, Johnathan Evans of Fremont, Bryan Keith Evans of Shippensburg, Pa., and Larry Dale Evans of Chocowinity; his wife, Glenda Altman Evans of Dunn; two brothers, Gregory Evans and Marvin Evans of Jacksonville Beach, Fla.; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday night from 7 until 9 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson.
