MARVIN KORNEGAY

Marvin Kornegay, 64, died Wednesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
The funeral will be held tonight at 7 in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. The Rev. Jason Sherman will officiate. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Providence United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Kornegay was a native of Wayne County and was the son of the late Nelson and Mildred Corbett Kornegay. He was a former employee of Frema Motors and was a member of Black Jack Free Will Baptist Church.
He is survived by two brothers and a sister-in-law, Earl and Lois Kornegay of Warsaw and Albert Kornegay of Dudley.
Another brother, George M. Kornegay, preceded him in death.
The family will greet friends at the funeral home immediately following the service tonight.
