KINSTON -- The funeral for Jeffrey "Jeff' Bruce Griffin, 42, will be held tonight at 7 in the chapel of Garner Funeral Home. Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
Mr. Griffin died Wednesday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Bruce Griffin, and is survived by his mother, Mary Griffin Tilghman, and stepfather, Leslie "Ed" Tilghman of Kinston; his grandmother, Lucille Griffin of Snow Hill; three sisters, Judy Taylor and Robbie Taylor of Snow Hill and Libby Redd of Winterville; and one brother, Leslie Tilghman Jr. of Kinston.
The family will receive friends at Garner Funeral Home immediately following the service tonight, and other times at his mother's residence, 2388 U.S. 70 E., Kinston.
