BRITTHAVEN--Cora J. "Mullins" Lamm, 82, of Wilson died today.
She was born in Wayne County to the late Jack and Cora Vollers Jones.
She was preceded in death by husband, John L. Mullins; son Donnie Mullins; and daughter Ann Mullins.
Cora is survived by her husband, Clarence Lamm of Wilson; daughters, Mrs. Linda Page and husband, Linwood of Goldsboro, Mrs. Frances Ballance and husband, Johnny of Fremont, Mrs. Lynn Markham and husband, Steve of Elizabeth City; Mrs. Pattie Stephenson and husband, Ben of Willow Springs; sons, John Mullins and wife, Ann of Elm City, Paul Mullins of Wilson, Wesley Mullins of Elm City, Gerald Mullins and wife, Angela of Wendell; Harold Mullins and fiancee, Karen Fitzpatrick of Maryland, Bobby Mullins and wife, Barbaro of Arlington, Texas; sister Katie Ruth Page of Wilson; brothers, Tilghman Jones of Wilson and Harvey Jones of Georgia; 27 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held Thursday at Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Home in Wilson at 3 p.m. with Pastor Lotis Joyner and Pastor Dempsey Winstead officiating. Burial will follow at Standtonsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held today at Thomas-Yelvberton from 7-9 p.m.
