Brenda Crocker Stott, 56, of Sims died Wednesday.
The funeral service will be held tonight at 7 at Joyner's Funeral Home in Wilson. Burial will be on Saturday morning at 11 at Mt. Zion Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery near Kenly.
Mrs. Stott was the daughter of the late Leonard and Mildred Crocker. She retired from J.C. Penney Company with 30 years of service.
She is survived by her husband, Freddie Stott; a son, Ashley Stott of Sims; four sisters, Betty Jean Williamson of Wilson, Linda Lou Lewis of Kenly, Brunette Eason of Wilson Mills and La Verne Murray of Kenly; a stepsister, Polly Farmer of Wilson; a stepbrother, Jimmy Bottoms of Georgia; and one grandson.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service tonight, and other times at 6965 Rock Ridge Sims Road, Sims.
