TOMMY HARRINGTON

Thomas "Tommy" Edison Harrington Jr., 60, of Morehead City, formerly of Goldsboro, died Sunday, May 7, 2006, at Carteret General Hospital.
Tommy was an avid woodworker and was a carpenter by trade. He owned and operated Woods & Harrington Home Improvements and was also a Certified Home Inspector. He was a veteran, having served 10 years in the military, which included the US Army Special Forces and two tours of duty in the Vietnam War.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville.
He is survived by a daughter, Tiffany Harrington of Beulaville; his loving companion, Gwen Bland of Morehead City; two sisters, Debbie H. Anderson of Hot Springs, Va., and Georgia H. Saunders of Midlothian, Va.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Edison Harrington, and his mother, Georgia Sylvester Harrington of Goldsboro.
