The funeral for Lula Mae Faison, 70, of Brooklyn, N.Y., formerly of Turkey, will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Turkey. The Rev. Tommy Jones will officiate. Burial will be in the Faison Family Cemetery.
Ms. Faison died last Wednesday at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn.
She is survived by a daughter, Willie Mae Faison of Brooklyn, NY; two sons, Jeremiah Faison and Timothy Faison of Brooklyn, NY; four brothers, William Faison of Turkey, Richard Faison and Bobby Smith of Clinton and Charles Faison of Pennsylvania; five sisters, Mary Alice Shephard of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Carolyn Copeland, Barbara Johnson and Dorothy Butler of Clinton; and six grandchildren.
The viewing hours will be from 4 until 7 today at Garris Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends at the home of William Faison, 3193 Cabin Museum Road, Turkey.
