MOUNT OLIVE -- Destiny Leigh Bowden, infant daughter of Angela Gail Best and Dustin Lee Bowden, died Saturday at Duplin General Hospital.
A graveside service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park. The Rev. Geoffrey A. Carter will officiate.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by one sister, Ashley Gail Bowden; her maternal grandparents, Jimmy Ray and Glenda Gail Best of Mount Olive; her paternal grandparents, Larry and Patricia Gail Beddingfield of Mount Olive and Willie Ray Bowden of Virginia; her maternal great-grandparents, Gerald and Fennitte Rouse of LaGrange; her paternal great-grandparents, William Earl Herring of Kinston, Linda and Joe Moss of Warsaw, Rachel Carter of Mount Olive and Dave and Eloise Beddingfield of Kenansville; seven uncles, Jeffrey Ray Best, Brandon Keith Bowden, Eric Ray Bowden, Larry Ryan Beddingfield, Derek Ray Bowden, Blake Lee Bowden and Patrick Bowden; and two aunts, Jennifer Harrison and Jan West.
The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service, and other times at the home, 183 Jim Best Road, Mount Olive.
