MILDRED REID

NORFOLK, VA. -- The funeral for Mildred Louise Reid, 95, was held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Norfolk. Dr. Robert G. Murray officiated. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.
A native of Goldsboro, Mrs. Reid was the sixth of 12 children born to the late Frank and Janie Vick. She attended Dillard High School and Norfolk State University. She was a Past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star and was also a member of the First Baptist and Olive Grove churches of Norfolk, Va.
She is survived by one daughter, Terri L. Wainwright of Charleston, W.Va., one sister, Ruby Carter of Washington, D.C.; and other relatives.
