PAULINE JOHNSON

Pauline Massengill Johnson, 95, died Monday.
A Johnston County native, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Kate Vinson Massengill and was the widow of Thelbert Johnson. She was a member of St. Mary's Free will Baptist Church in Kenly.
Her survivors include a daughter, Teresa J. Kirby of Lucama; a sister, Estelle McKenzie of Smithfield; a half sister, Doris Ennis of Coats; and two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Coley Funeral Home. The Rev. David Kriger will officiate. Burial will be in Holly Springs Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be tonight from 7 until 9 at Coley Funeral Home. At other times the family will receive friends at the home of Bruce and Teresa J. Kirby, 8348 Newsome Mill Road, Lucama.
