JAMES WEBBER

DUDLEY -- James Henry Webber, 69, of 102 Carraway Creek Drive, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Born in Wayne County, he was the son of the late David Samuel & Emma Howell Webber, and was married to Margaret Thompson Webber. He worked with Kemp Manufacturing Company for most of his life where he served as a supervisor until his retirement. He attended Unity Baptist Church in Mount Olive. He spent his time with his family that included three lovely dogs, "Lady", "Sandy", and "Jealous Lucky".
A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park with Pastor Ray Warren officiating.
In addition to his wife of 49 years, he is survived by a daughter, Barbara Bohlen, and husband, Steve, of Dudley; grandson, Justin Harville, and granddaughter, Kimberly Harville, both of Dudley; brother, Clayton Webber, and his wife, Betty, of Seven Springs; sister, Judy Price of Dudley; nephew, Johnny Price Jr., and his wife, Debra, of Sanford a brother-in-law, Donald Thompson and wife, Brenda, of Florida; and his mother-in-law, Mary Thompson, whose care he lovingly assisted with.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter O'Keefe and David Ray Webber.
Family members will greet friends Tuesday evening from 7 until 9 at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, and at other times at the home.
