Walter Perry Flowers, 88, of 1602 Palm St., died Wednesday.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Bentonville. The Rev. Dick Lewis will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Flowers is survived by two sons, H. Ray Flowers, and his wife, Deborah, of Marietta, Ga., and Danny Craig Flowers of Goldsboro; one brother, William "Bill" Flowers of Four Oaks; and two grandchildren, Taylor Leigh Flowers and Raleigh Clarke Flowers.
The family will receive friends at the church during the hour prior to the service on Saturday morning.
