Linda Carol Mora, 41, of Rosewood Road, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory. Pastor Vernon Braswell will officiate. Burial will be in Black Creek Cemetery in Black Creek.
Mrs. Mora was born in Guilford County and was the daughter of Bobby Nelson Whitley of Pikeville and the late Alberta Whitley. She was a member of Rosewood First Baptist Church.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Pedro Mora Benitez; one daughter, Ashley Renee Whitley of the home; and three sisters, Betty W. Zimmerman of Pikeville, Teresa Lynn Whitley of Pikeville and Cheryl Renee Vasquez of Pikeville.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7 until 8:30 at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory, and other times at the home of Betty Whitley Zimmerman, 3974 US Hwy 117 North, Pikeville.
