DOVER -- The funeral for David Earl Rouse, 52, brother of Janet Edwards of LaGrange, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Queen Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church. Burial will be in Hickory Grove Church Cemetery.
In addition to his sister, Mr. Rouse is survived by two sons, Tyrell Grant of Virginia and Brodrick Whitehurst of Grifton; two daughters, Rachel Lee of Chapel Hill and JoAnna Rouse of Connecticut; three brothers, Dennis Rouse of Dover and Leavy Bryant and James Bryant of Kinston; and three other sisters, Mildred Brown of New Bern and Sherry Hart and Patricia Bryant of Dover.
Visiting hours will be from 2 until 8 today at Swinson Funeral Service.
