BEULAH S. ROBERTS
Died April 10, 2006
Beulah Smith Roberts, 84, formerly of Kirkwood Retirement Community, died today at SunBridge Care & Rehabilitation for Mount Olive.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery near LaGrange, with the Rev. Jerry Mitchell officiating.
Mrs. Roberts was born in Wayne County to the late William Heber and Lillian Mozingo Smith. Her hobbies were sewing, quilting and crocheting.
She is survived by one son, Thomas Roberts, and his wife, Marian, of Pikeville; one daughter, Barbara Miller, and her husband, Truman, of Beulaville; four grandchildren, Brent Roberts, Erik Wells and wife, Lisa, Sheri Wells and Tiffany Harrington; two great-grandchildren, Brandon and Erika Wells; two sisters, Evelyn McMillan of Greenville and Frances Rouse of Snow Hill; four brothers, Preston Smith of LaGrange, Alphas Smith of Goldsboro and Bennie Smith and Heber Smith Jr. of Virginia.
She was preceded in death by a son, Johnnie Gary Roberts.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home in LaGrange, and other times at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Roberts, 1063 Capps Bridge Road, Pikeville.
