Robert Manley Jr., 67, of 901 Dorsey St., died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory. Apostle Nobert E. Simmons will officiate. Burial will be at Winn Cemetery in Mount Olive.
Mr. Manley was a Wayne County native and was retired from Cherry Hospital. He was the son of the late Robert Manley Sr. and Gladys Jones Manley.
His surviving family includes two daughters, A. Nicole Manley-Gray, and her husband, Ryan, of Jacksonville, N.C., and Antoinyette Bland and her husband, Russell Bland Jr., of Goldsboro; Antoinyette's mother, Barbara M. Manley of Goldsboro; two sisters, Geraldine Brewington and Carolyn Phillips of Mount Olive; two grandchildren, Teghan and Myles; his significant other, Melba Hamm, and her grandchildren, Mecca and Noah; her nephew, Darreon Hamm of Goldsboro; and a sister-in-law, Peggy Manley of Columbia, Maryland.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Manley was preceded in death by one son, Anthony Manley; two brothers, Kenneth Manley and Curtis Manley; and Melba's son, DeCarlo Hamm.
Visiting hours will be on Thursday from 4 until 7 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro, with the family present from 6 until 7 p.m. At other times the family will be at the Bland residence at 411 Hunters Creek Drive in Goldsboro.
