FAISON -- The funeral for James Lee Thompson will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Faison Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Mark Scott will officiate. Burial will be in Faison Cemetery.
Mr. Thompson died Monday at his home in Durham.
He was a native of Faison and was the son of the late James Ireland Thompson and Dorothy Adams Thompson. He was a commercial real estate broker and was a member of Faison Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Leigh Thompson of Durham; two sons, William Alexander Thompson and Eric James Thompson of Durham; and a stepdaughter, Elizabeth Hughes of High Point.
The family will receive friends at the church from 1 until 2 on Thursday afternoon.
