The funeral for Lamar Davis, 25, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. Burial will be in the First Congregational Church Cemetery in Dudley.
He died Saturday in Leesburg, Fla.
A Wayne County native, he is survived by his parents, Carl Douglas Davis and Lois Boseman Davis, and a brother, Myer Davis of Smithfield.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home during the hour prior to the service on Wednesday, and other times at the home of his parents at 306 Sleepy Creek Road, Dudley.
