MARGARET ALLEN WOODARD
April 30, 1923-March 24, 2006
GOLDSBORO -- Mrs. Margaret Allen Woodard of 416 Ebenezer Church Road went to be with Jesus Friday afternoon at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Woodard was born in Wayne County on April 30, 1923, to the late James Addison Allen Sr. and Cora Pierce Allen. She was married to the late Bayard Woodard Sr. Mrs. Woodard was retired from Belk and was a member of Harvest Fellowship, where she held the office of Helps Committee chairperson.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Pete Norris officiating. Burial will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Woodard is survived by her son, Bayard H. Woodard, Jr., and his wife, Kaye, of the home; her grandchildren, Woody Woodard and wife, Michele, of Goldsboro, Shannon Barnes and husband, Phillip, of Benson; her great-grandchildren, Alan Brent, Seth, Josh, Samantha, Allen Michael and Micah; her brother, James A. Allen Jr. of Goldsboro; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends following the service at Seymour Funeral Home and at other times will be at the residence.
