Mildred Sumner Kennedy, 75, of Pink Hill, died Wednesday, March 22, 2006, at the Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Community Funeral Home in Beulaville. Burial will be in Sand Hill Cemetery in Pink Hill.
Mrs. Kennedy is survived by four daughters, Shelby K. Foster of Raleigh, Ann K. Albertson and Cynthia K. Miller of Pink Hill and Verna K. Brown of Maple Hill; and four sons Kenneth Gerald Kennedy of Deep Run, Allen Ray Kennedy and Everett Kennedy of Pink Hill and Otis Glenn Kennedy.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at the funeral home.
