CLELL JOYNER HOWARD
Died Saturday. Funeral Monday.
Clell Joyner Howard, age 83, died Saturday morning at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Born in Elm City, she was the daughter of the late Isaac Joyner and Mertie Turner Joyner. She was the wife of Lloyd R. Howard for 59 years, and was a homemaker.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Glenn Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a sister, Virginia Crawley of Bladenboro, a brother, J.W. Joyner of Seaboard, and several nieces and nephews.
Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to First Baptist Church.
Arrangements are being handled by Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
