EZZADELLE LOCUST

KINSTON -- The funeral for Ezzadelle "Sal" Locust, 84, mother of Gary Mitchell Locust of Goldsboro, will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Savannah Free Will Baptist Church. Dr. John Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Crest Lawn Memorial Garden in Farmville.
In addition to her son, Mrs. Locust is survived by four daughters, Hilda Grace Moore of Brooklyn, N.Y., Sarah Elizabeth Whitfield of Newark, N.J., Betty Jean Wells of Augusta, Maine, and Bessie Bellamy of Morrisville; seven other sons, Willie James Locust of Alphretta, Ga., Sonia Lee Locust of Round Rock, Texas, Bobby Ray Locust of Fayetteville, Levy David Locust of Greenville, Jeffery Mitton Locust of Greensboro, Alanda Wesley Locust of Charlotte and Ronnie Earl Locust of High Point; six sisters, Ollie Lewis of Elizabeth Heights, N.J., Beulah Hardy of Cleveland, Ohio, Mable Cannon, Eunice Dixon and Earline Dixon of Kinston and Nellie Darden of Baltimore, Md.; five brothers, Allen Dixon of Grifton, Johnnie E. Dixon, Levy Dixon, Calvin Dixon and Sebron Dixon of Kinston; and 24 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The calling hours will be from 3 until 8 p.m. on Friday at Mills Funeral Home and will include a Wake from 6 until 7 p.m.
