MAGGIE LANE
MOUNT OLIVE -- Maggie Hughes Lane, 82, died Fri-day.
She was the daughter of the late Claude and Rodie Hughes, and was widow of the late Daniel Jackson Lane. She was a member of Salem Advent Christian Church, and a former employee of J.P. Stevens and Mount Olive Retirement Village.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Tyndall Funeral Home. The Rev. Rick Hathaway will officiate. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
She is survived by six sons, Carl Lane, Stevie Lane and Phil Lane of Mount Olive, Royce Lane of Warsaw, Allen Lane of Dudley, and Nelson Lane of Faison; one sister, Beulah Hinson of Princeton; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Carrie Martin.
The family will receive friends at Tyndall Funeral Home this evening from 6 until 7:30.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Salem Advent Christian Church, 909 N. Church St., Mount Olive, N.C., 28365.
