KENANSVILLE --The funeral for James E. Farrior, 73, of 116 S. Church St., will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at St. James A.M.E. Church of Kenansville. The Rev. Wayne Lofton will officiate. Burial will be in the Devotional Gardens.
Mr. Farrior died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
He was the son of the late Tommie and Gertrude Jones Farrior and was a retired civil service employee.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel M. Farrior of the home; one daughter, Emily F. Marshall of Durham; one brother, Paul Farrior of Goldsboro; one sister, Ann Farrior of Connecticut; and three grandchildren.
The viewing will be from 6 until 7 p.m. today at Garris Funeral Home Chapel, and the family will be present from 7 until 8 p.m. to receive friends.
