Died Feb. 13, 2006
The funeral for Deacon Earl Timothy McIntyre Sr., of 1912 Elton Drive, will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at New Stoney Hill Holy Church. Pastor Howard E. McNair will officiate. Burial with full military honors will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mr. McIntyre is survived by his wife, Etta Geraldine McIntyre of the home; two sons, Earl McIntyre Jr. and Sean McIntyre of Goldsboro; three daughters, Aleasa Sappington of Charlottesville, Va., Vivica McIntyre of Goldsboro and Sabrina McIntyre of the home; two sisters, Alma Newby of Atlanta, Ga., and Ora Phylisse Wright of Greensboro; and six grandchildren.
A viewing will be held Friday from 1 until 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home and the family will be present to receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m., and other at times will be at the residence.
