JAMES E. LIPSCOMB

James Earl Lipscomb, 54, of Creekwood Drive, died Saturday at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Nahunta Cemetery. The Rev. Dennis Pollock will officiate.
Mr. Lipscomb was a Wayne County native and was the son of Dessiree Dail Lipscomb of Pikeville and the late Edgar Lipscomb. He was employed with Coastal Distributing of Kinston.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons, Everett Todd Lipscomb and Brian Edgar Lipscomb of Rosewood; two brothers, George Lipscomb of Goldsboro and Dennis Lipscomb of Eureka; three sisters, Ann Rose of Nahunta, Linda James of Pikeville and Connie Parrish of Goldsboro; and four grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro, and other times at the home of Linda James, 834 Forehand Road, Pikeville.
