KINSTON -- Noah "Junior" Reaves Jr., 73, died Sunday.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Potter Family Cemetery in Duplin County. Allen Ham and Elder Joseph Barnett will officiate.
Mr. Reaves was preceded in death by his parents, Noah Amos and Helen Rosa Reaves, and an infant brother and sister.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann Barnett Reaves; daughters, Joy Reaves Higbee and husband Michael of San Diego, Calif., Carol Reaves Edwards and husband David of Kinston, Rebecca Harper and husband Dennis of Moss Hill, and Angela Stroud of Deep Run; sons, Michael David Reaves and wife Susan of LaGrange, Ronnie Stroud and wife Donna of Wilson; 17 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sister, Pauline Reaves Ingram of Grantham; mother-in-law, Rosella Barnett; brothers-in-law, Joseph Barnett and wife Joyce and Russell Barnett and wife Joan; sister-in-law, Carolyn Jean Brown of Albertson; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Howard-Carter Funeral Home.
