WILSON -- Jerry Williams, 64, of 5411 Highway 264 East, died Wednesday at his residence.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. at Barnes Chapel Church, 1004 S. Railroad St. The Rev. Steven Kent will officiate. Burial will be in Hamilton Burial Garden.
Mr. Williams was the son of the late James Harvey Banks and Jessie Williams Banks of Kenly.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Josephine Williams; two sons, Stanley Williams of Macon, Ga., and Ernie Williams of Wilson; one daughter, Anita Whitley of Wilson; four sisters, Margaret Richardson of Kenly, Alice Johnson of Pikeville, Jane Hinnant of Kenly and Phyllis Canarick of Bay Shore, N.Y.; one stepbrother, Monty, and other relatives.
The viewing hours will be from 2 until 8 p.m. on Saturday at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 726 Tarboro St.
The family will receive friends at the residence and will assemble there one hour prior to the service on Sunday.
