Nancy Rose Barnes Springle, 91, of 613 Selah Church Road, died Sunday at Sunbridge Care in Mount Olive.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. The Rev. Patrick Munston and the Rev. Jean Hood will officiate. A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Willow Dale Cemetery.
Mrs. Springle was a native of Wayne County and was a member of Selah Christian Church. A homemaker, she was the wife of the late William W. "Bill" Springle and the daughter of the late George Herbert and Sadie Fitzgerald Barnes.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Charles Capps of Goldsboro and Judith Kaye and John McVerry of Goldsboro; one stepson, William David Springle of Virginia; two grandchildren, Greg Robben and Jennifer Moran; one great-granddaughter, Sarah Robben.
The family will receive friends at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home immediately following the funeral on Wednesday night, and other times at the home of Greg Robben, 668 Selah Church Road, Goldsboro.
