ROY DUNCAN

PRINCETON -- Roy Lynell Duncan, 69, died Thursday at his home.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church. Dr. Glenn Griffin and the Rev. George Whitman will officiate. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery in Clayton.
Mr. Duncan was born in Johnston County to the late Wilbert H. and Myrtle Benson Duncan. For many years he was an agent with Liberty Life Insurance Company. He was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Princeton. He was a United State Navy veteran and was a member of the Clayton American Legion Post #71.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Skinner Duncan; daughters, Jan Duncan Holt of Raleigh, Nell Duncan Grice of Princeton, Lisa Duncan McCall of Zebulon and Lori Duncan Coats of Clayton; brothers, Billy Ray Duncan of Smithfield and Randy Duncan of Clayton; sisters, LaVarre Unger and Odessa Barbour of Clayton; and seven grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Parrish Funeral Home in Princeton.
