WARSAW -- Judith Miller "Judy" Herring, 71, died Monday at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Warsaw Baptist Church, where she was a member. Burial will be in Pinecrest Cemetery.
Mrs. Herring was the daughter of the late James D. and Marie Fant Miller of Minner City, Miss.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, J.B. Herring; two daughters, Gloria Herring Miller and her husband, Pat, of Raleigh and Pam Herring Howell and her husband, Kenny, of Wilmington; one son, Larry Herring of Florence, S.C.; two grandchildren, Shana Woodward of Charlotte and Kylie Howell of Wilmington; three sisters, Sarah Miller and Jean Miller Nance of Beaufort and Gayle Miller Saint-Amand and husband, Jim, of Mount Olive.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Community Funeral Home, and other times at the residence.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Warsaw Baptist Church, 209 E. College St., Warsaw, N.C., 28398.
