IRVIN POOLE
Irvin Clayborn Poole, 84, died last week at his home.
A graveside service with full military honors will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Mr. Poole served in two branches of the military, the Army and the Air Force, and retired from the latter with 20 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Marie C. Poole, and a son, Irvin C. Poole Jr.
He is survived by two daughters, Katherine Marie Bell of Kinston and Shirley Ann Kelley of Turnersville, Texas; and four grandchildren.
The family will greet friends following the service on Wednesday.
Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home is serving the family.
