Died Dec. 22, 2005
A memorial service for Leland Cameron Rogers, 79, will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. The Rev. Ryan Rasmussen will officiate.
Mr. Rogers died Thursday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Johnson Rogers, and is survived by a daughter, Deborah Cameron Rogers Covill and husband Mark of Denver, Colo.; stepdaughters, Andrea Bone and husband Michael of Goldsboro, Laura Lieberman of Raleigh and Georgia Dees and husband John of Goldsboro; half sisters, Jean Roger Perry of Durham and Judith Aiken of Raleigh; half brother, Nathan Rogers of Laurinburg; and two grandchildren. Caroline Bone of Goldsboro and Charlie Dees of Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 7 until 9 at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Barium Springs Children's Home, P.O. Box 1, Barium Springs, NC 28010.
