TOMMY G. JOHNSON

Tommy Greene Johnson, 73, of 402 Birch Drive, died Thursday morning at Duke Health in Raleigh.
The funeral will be held tonight at 7 at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Ray Smeltzer officiating. Interment will be on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Zebulon.
Mr. Johnson was born March 29, 1932, in Harnett County to the late Alonzo Lee Johnson and Cora Adams Johnson. A veteran of the United States Air Force, he owned and operated TJ's Auto Sales in Zebulon and was currently working with Deacon Jones Ford Lincoln Mercury in Goldsboro.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Hazel H. Johnson; his children, Gloria Jean Johnson of Navarre, Fla., Tommy Scott Johnson and wife, Vicky, of Goldsboro and Nancy Jane Johnson of Benson; his grandchildren, Taylor Johnson and Savannah Johnson; four sisters, Lea Franks of New York, Dean Johnson of Coats, Jacqueline Nordan of Coats and Joe Matthews of Virginia; a brother, Jimmy Johnson of Durham; and a special friend, Andrea Fulcher.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Pat Jackson; and his brothers, Wilton Johnson and Albert Johnson.
The family will receive friends following the service tonight at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times at his son's residence at 114 Harding Place, Goldsboro.
