Willis Green, 83, of 915 E. Elm St., died Monday a SunBridge Care Center in Mount Olive.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Rhodes Funeral Home. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mr. Green was the son of the late Raeford and Joanna Rouse Green. He attended Johnston and Wayne County schools and served two years in the United States Army. He worked as a painter at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base and in civil service at Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville.
He is survived by two daughters, Renee Green and Roma Green of Washington, D.C.
The viewing will be from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday at Rhodes Funeral Home in Goldsboro.
