WADE -- Sadie Mae McDonald, 78, died Friday at her home at 6800 House St. in Wade.
The funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday at 12:30 p.m. at Wesley Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church in Wade. The Rev. Robert L. Stevens will officiate. Burial will be in Rockfish Memorial Park in Fayetteville.
She is survived by a daughter, Julie McDonald Taylor of Winston-Salem; two sons, Darwin McDonald of Greensboro, NC and Frederick M. McDonald of the home; a sister, Mildred Juanita Smith of Bronx, N.Y.; and six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 7 until 8 p.m. at Tucker and Sons Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
The family is being served by Hamilton Funeral Chapel of Goldsboro and Tucker and Sons Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
