NEWARK, N.J. -- Mildred Uzzell, 77, of 65 Jay St., Newark N.J., formerly of Goldsboro, died Tuesday in East Orange Medical Center, East Orange, N.J.
A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday at Hamilton Funeral Chapel with Elder Thurman McCuller officiating.
She is survived by sisters, Katie Rochester of Philadelphia, Pa.,Maryann Green of Clinton,Md., Debra Smith of Upper Marlboro, Md., Carolyn Sanders, Eleanor Shepard, Dessie Lofton, Doris Coley and Linda Brown, all of Goldsboro; brothers, George Uzzell of Goldsboro, Bobby Uzzell of California, Elbert Uzzell, Jr., Harry Uzzell,and Ennis R. Uzzell all of Philadelphia, Pa.
A viewing will be held today from 3 until 7 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel of Goldsboro.
